Are you ready for the awesomeness that is Win It Wednesday? Today is going to be fabulous. Simply fabulous dawling!

Today we get to work with none other than the absolutely fabulous, highly sought after PICKY STICKY!!!!

What, pray tell, exactly is a picky sticky you ask. Fantastic question!! You know how every month in that first year of your darling child’s life, you take a photo to document growth and whatnot. Well Picky Sticky has came up with stickers, with the month on them, so there’s no more of that looking back at pictures and saying “Ok, so was little John-john 7 months or 8 months in this picture? What the flying fig, HOW am I supposed to put these massive piles of pictures in order if I don’t know how old he was!!!”

Yea, that happened in our house too. UNTIL I found Picky Sticky. No more of that now. Now I can say, oh yea, Eden was 2 months old when we did the purple pictures, DUH Andrea. And I feel a lot better about myself for not forgetting how old my kids are.

Technical Difficulties

Due to a few outside factors Win It Wednesday will resume next week.

So yes, this post is a week behind but bear with me here, I’ve been a bit dramatic lately since B started preschool today! But more on that in a bit.

Last week I wrangled up seven local girls to photograph Halloween costumes for the oh so lovely Tammy from Sweet Princess Bowtique. I’ve talked about her awesomeness before, she rocks.

So we met at the French Art Colony and the girls went wild for the costumes. They had a giant tea party, played croquet, and played a few rounds of Ring Around the Rosie. All in all, we had a blast. Tammy has already mentioned next year’s costumes and I CAN.NOT.WAIT!

Weeds | Nature Photography Gallipolis, OH

So, yea, I am not a good gardener. I have good intentions, but I tend to forget to water and weed my flowerbed.

And while others will frown on this, I got quite excited when this doozy of a weed started growing. I let him get nice and big and then took one day and photographed him once an hour to show how quickly he progressed.
He went from tiny white and purple buds, to flowers (which I didn’t time well enough to get any photos of), to green bud things, to these giant transluence pods, and then they burst open and you could see the brown seeds instead. It was quite cool.

So now that I took some pictures of it I’m ready for any of ya’ll to come pull it out. It’s got splinters on it that I am NOT messing with. I’m pretty sure this bad boy is in the same family as those fly traps that bite.
